Jamestown Community College Science Building - Weeks Room

11:00 a.m. – noon

$8 Adults; $6 Nature Center members
Reservations appreciated, walk-ins welcome.

 

Take a tour of the Jamestown Community College Science Building, which is loaded with sustainable features. Meet in the Weeks room for an introduction, before taking a tour with Professor Jan Bowman.

JCC’s building is loaded with green features, from a living roof to sustainable lighting. The building has light wells, a greywater system, geothermal heat, and more. Come learn about the building in the building for the July First Friday.

Jan Bowman is a longtime professor at JCC.

 

Special Information: Bring a brown bag lunch and enjoy lunchtime with ACNC and other participants.

  • If ACNC cancels the program, participants receive full refunds.
  • If a participant cancels before the deadline, a refund, less $5 processing fee, will be made.
