Did you know for every three bites of food you take, one bite was made possible by pollinators like bats, bees, and other insects? This month learn all about what pollinators are, how they move pollen, and why they are important.
Plants have pollen and they need to move it. Sometimes the wind moves it, but sometimes plants need pollinators to help them move the pollen for them. Learn all about these amazing animals and how they move pollen as you head outside to find pollinators in action. This program includes a lesson followed by outdoor exploration, and a snack. If time and weather allow, a craft is included.
Special Information: This program takes place rain or shine, please dress for the weather.
