This month Little Explorers will learn all about evergreen trees, how they are used by the animals, and why they’re green all year. This program is designed for children 3 – 8 with a grown-up or two.

Beautiful evergreen trees — humans use them to decorate their homes for the holidays. Do other animals use them, too? After learning all about different types of evergreens, and their importance to winter wildlife, take walk outside to find these cozy trees and investigate how animals use them. This program includes a lesson followed by outdoor exploration, and a snack. If time and weather allow, a craft is included.

Special Information: This program takes place rain or shine, please dress for the weather.
