At first glance, birds of prey look a little scary, but these amazing animals are perfectly designed for aerial hunting. Come to meet some of these incredible creatures and learn about their lives in the sky through hands-on activities.
Find out what owls eat by dissecting an owl pellet, make birds of prey craft to take home, and get a behind-the-scenes tour of the non-releasable Bald Eagle, Liberty.
Mark Baker, a licensed raptor rehabilitator at Eagle Dreams, will be at the Nature Center with several of his birds that are unable to be released back into the wild. Visit with Mark and his birds throughout the day or sit in on one of his presentations at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Fun patches for Scouts and others that are interested will be available for an additional $3.
