Apples All Year Long: Site Selection (Adult)
Friday, February 9, 2018, 2:00–4:00 p.m.
$16 Adults; $12 Nature Center members
Paid reservations required by February 7, 2018.

Evaluate your site to determine the best place for apple trees and what preparation is needed.

Apple trees are hardy plants, but benefit from best placement in your landscape. Learn apple tree preferences in regards to to pH, soil nutrients, soil types, drainage, and sun. Different varieties have different tolerances and you will learn about ones that may be more suitable to the land you already have. Choosing varieties that thrive in your existing conditions sets you up for early success.

Cancellation Policy
  • If ACNC cancels the program, students receive full refunds.
  • If a student cancels before the deadline, a refund, less $5 processing fee, will be made.
  • If a student cancels after the deadline, no refund will be made, but please still notify Audubon of your cancellation.
