Hello Audubon Volunteers, and happy fall!

We hope you're enjoying the slow transition of the seasons and taking advantage of this beautiful time of year.

There is a lot happening at Audubon Community Nature Center as always. We are grateful to each of you for contributing your time and talents, ensuring that we can continue to serve the community by keeping our trails safe and accessible, our animals fed and cared for, and our events a continued success!

To learn more about the volunteer opportunities listed below, please contact ACNC's Volunteer Coordinator Sharon Tefft at stefft@auduboncnc.org or by calling the Nature Center at 716-569-2345.

Farewell Kim Turner

Kim Turner has spent the last 10 years developing ACNC's animal care program to include a higher level of professionalism through extensive research and training. She helped to facilitate the design and implementation of the Pamela A. Westrom Wildlife Habitat which allows ACNC to house up to four non-releasable birds of prey.

Kim has also been instrumental in the design and branding of the organization by bringing her incredible artistry to our t-shirts, website, educational signage, and more. Thank you, Kim for your many years of dedication!

Congratulations Terry LeBaron!

Terry LeBaron is retiring from ACNC after his 10 years as Buildings and Grounds Manager. You'll still see Terry out and about taking care of the more than 50 nest boxes that he monitors on the property. Thank you, Terry for your many years of keeping ACNC's buildings and grounds safe and accessible to the more than 1,500 people who visit each month.
