Audubon’s trails are full of surprises at the annual Dragons and Fairies Festival! You may find trolls hiding under the bridges, elves wandering the trails, and dragons that lay eggs in unexpected places.

The Dragons and Fairies Festival transforms the grounds of Audubon into a delightful mix of all things magical. Children can try their hand at archery, make a wizard staff, go on a dragon egg hunt, and so much more. Adults and children alike are encouraged to wear their favorite costumes, and there will also be a fantasy photo booth available where children can pose in some of Audubon’s costumes.

There are lots of things happening all day. Live music will be performed by Sixpence from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.. Join a short drum circle with Jamestown Thunder at 11:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m., and 2:00 p.m.. Unicorns will be available to see from Double Rainbow Ranch from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.. There will also be food from the Best of Buffalo Food Truck and Persnikkity Pies, as well as snacks from Audubon. You can never predict when a fairy, troll, wood elf or garden gnome will appear to make the festival more fun!

Expect a fun day filled with fairy tale story times, live music, food, obstacle courses, play areas, crafts, and all kinds of fantastic fun!
