Natural Egg Dyeing Make-and-Take (Adult )

Use common kitchen ingredients to dye eggs naturally.

Dyeing eggs is a traditional springtime activity for all ages. In this workshop-style make-and-take, participants will learn how to use plants, food scraps, spices, and beverages to color eggs. Bring up to 4 hard-boiled eggs (white ones show truer color) to place in the dyes to take home beautifully colored eggs. While the eggs are soaking, participants will make another batch of dye and learn about other egg decoration techniques.  

Special Information: Please bring 4 hard-boiled eggs (white eggs show truer colors) to dye and take home. If you’d like to take some dye home, bring a jar with a tight-fitting lid as well.
