Learn how to turn areas of standing water on your land into beautiful rain gardens. You can look at wet areas as a wasteland or as an opportunity to create a garden paradise with plants that love wet spaces.

Rain Gardens are a great way to mitigate standing water on your property while creating a beautiful space for pollinators in your yard.  

This program will be presented by Jean Gomory, a Watershed Specialist with the Warren County Conservation District in Warren, Pa who has been helping organizations and individuals create rain gardens.

COVID-19 Information: Face coverings are required for all participants ages 3 and up for indoor programs; they are also required for outdoor programs during which participants cannot maintain 6 feet of distance between family groups. Please have a face covering available should situations change. If you are feeling ill, have any symptoms of COVID-19, or have come into contact with a probable or confirmed COVID-19 case, please stay home. If you have traveled to/from a non-contiguous state or to/from a CDC Level 2 or 3 Travel Notice Country please complete the required quarantine before attending programs. Please be aware that if Audubon discovers that a program instructor or participant tests positive or is considered presumptive positive for COVID-19, they may use registration information to assist with contact tracing.
