Learn how a conservationist is reclaiming an old, run-down farm.

There was a lone house out in the middle of the fields. Long before today horses traversed the paths out front with children driving farm machinery. Then a conservationist bought it. One day, half of it was torn down. Then it was rebuilt. Now it showcases ponds and myriad wildlife. Learn the story of this property, what it was and what it has become. Hike the trails, hear the history, and enjoy a morning in which past and present meet.

The homeowner will share stories of the land and take you on a tour to see all that he reclaimed. This is a great opportunity to see what an old farm can become with time and seemingly endless hard work.

Special Information: Rain or shine. Dress for the weather, waterproof boots and insect repellent recommended. Bring binoculars, if desired.
