$8 Adults; $6 Nature Center members
$6 Children 3 – 15; free 2 and under
Reservations appreciated, walk-ins welcome.

Learn how to capture and identify local butterflies as Audubon takes stock of what butterflies live on the property. Some butterfly nets will be provided. Visitors will have a short indoor introduction to how to use a butterfly net and identify butterflies. Most of the program will take place in a field that is a short walk from the Nature Center.

This program will be led by Craig Thompson, a retired naturalist who is currently very active with the National Audubon Society in New York.

 

Special Information: Expect to walk half a mile to a mile altogether. Butterfly nets will be provided, but please bring one if you have them as the supply is limited.

Cancellation Policy
  • If ACNC cancels the program, participants receive full refunds.
  • If a participant cancels before the deadline, a refund, less $5 processing fee, will be made.
  • If a participant cancels after the deadline, no refund will be made, but please still notify Audubon of your cancellation.
