Water Chestnut Pull (Adult)

Join Audubon in the yearly battle to clear Big Pond of Water Chestnut. This invasive plant took over the pond ten years ago, but, with the help of staff and crews of dedicated volunteers, the pond is much clearer of the invasive. Work together with the crew to clear the initial growth of this year’s Water Chestnut from Big Pond. Be prepared to get muddy. Bring waders or a kayak if you have one.

Reservations appreciated, walk-ins welcome.

Special Information: Water Chestnut pullers can expect to get wet and slightly muddy. Audubon has a limited number of waders and kayaks that people can use. Lunch is provided.
