Enjoy a private tour of the native gardens and art studio of botanical artist, Sara Baker Michalak.

In time for Mother’s Day weekend and the blooming of the spring ephemerals, native plant expert and artist Sara Baker Michalak invites you to her unique home alongside Canadaway Creek near Fredonia, NY. Past spring tours have featured several species of trillium, dwarf crested iris, woodland phlox, foam flower and colorful wood poppies. A variety of native grasses are also a highlight of this well-tended creekside garden. Due to Mother Nature’s whim, and spring weather, the exact varieties in bloom vary.

The program will include light refreshments including wildflower teas and locally sourced sweets. The one-acre property is also home to Sara’s art studio, where she creates mixed media imagery. Her work is found online at SaraBakerMichalakArt.com.

  • If ACNC cancels the program, participants receive full refunds.
  • If a participant cancels before the deadline, a refund, less $5 processing fee, will be made.
  • If a participant cancels after the deadline, no refund will be made, but please still notify Audubon of your cancellation.
