Spatterdock bridge was built in the late 1970s. Over time, the support structures have sunk into the muck. When we get a lot of rain, the bridge floods and becomes dangerous for hikers.
ACNC volunteers will work this summer on raising the bridge in addition to replacing any broken boards. The proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly towards purchasing the materials they need.
Menu:
- Spaghetti with red sauce and meat or vegi-balls
- Tossed Salad
- Bread and Butter
- Dessert
- Beverages: coffee, water, milk
Special Information: Arrive early to explore the exhibits and visit Liberty, Audubon’s non-releasable Bald Eagle. Dinner will be served starting at 5:00 p.m. and will be served until 6:30 p.m. The Nature Center building will open to guests until 7:30 p.m. Remember, this is a FUNdraising event. Bring extra cash to take a chance on winning a locally famous and nationally acclaimed Portage Pie from Westfield, NY and/or to purchase delicious home-baked cookies.
