Meet at the parking lot on the north side of Route 474 between Panama and the junction with Route 76 (GPS 42.07509, -79.51834). From there, carpool or caravan to a backroad location a bit closer to our destination, hike to the Warner Road Lean-tos, and enjoy BYO picnic lunch on the banks of a picturesque pond. Tom Erlandson, who has long served on the Chautauqua County Parks Commission, will be on hand to relate the history of the park system and this trail.

This hike is short, but there are some steep parts.

Special Information: BYO brown bag picnic lunch with plenty of water in a daypack for easy carrying. Dress for the weather, including hiking shoes/boots, sun and insect protection.

Cancellation Policy
  • If ACNC cancels the program, participants receive full refunds.
  • If a participant cancels before the deadline, a refund, less $5 processing fee, will be made.
  • If a participant cancels after the deadline, no refund will be made, but please still notify Audubon of your cancellation.
