The world changes in the dark, and Audubon wants to explore that world with you. Enjoy a night full of activities to help you learn more about the night. Go on an owl prowl to find resident owls or search for elusive, local bats.
Visitors are able to choose between two different hikes as well as enjoy the campfire. Go on a crepuscular hike in the time between dusk and dark to learn how human bodies adjust to light and see how some animals glow in the dark.
Scouts and other interested parties can get a night hike fun patch for an additional $3 for attending the program.
This event will feature local experts as well as naturalists and interns leading the programs.
Special Information: Dress for cool evenings and wear insect spray in case the mosquitoes come out. Flashlights are optional, but should not be used on some walks
