Paid reservations required by Monday, November 9, 2026.

Children can enjoy a school holiday at ACNC playing outdoors and being active before the cold sets in for the season.

Children ages 4 – 12 can explore outdoors, play, climb, run, and engage their senses as they discover all that late autumn embodies – crisp weather and crunchy leaves, animals storing and gathering food, and plants ready to spend the winter safely in a state of dormancy. Learning and play are the themes of the day.

Children should dress for the weather, bring water, snacks and a lunch that do not need refrigeration, and extras of anything that might get wet (so extras of everything!).

Special Information: Children go outside for as much of the day as possible. Please dress them so they are comfortable being out in the forecasted weather.

Cancellation Policy
  • If ACNC cancels the program, participants receive full refunds.
  • If a participant cancels before the deadline, a refund, less an $8 processing fee, will be made. If the registration is less than $8, the processing fee will be 25% of the cost of the registration.
  • If a participant cancels after the deadline, no refund will be made, but please still notify Audubon of your cancellation. No refunds after 30 days from purchase.
