Morning birding and breakfast? It’s a great way to start the day! Join Audubon staff and volunteers as they make a delicious pancake breakfast to go with a morning at the birdfeeders. This weekend celebrates the Great Backyard Bird Count, a project of Cornell Lab of Ornithology, National Audubon Society, and Birds Canada that launched in 1998 to track where birds end up in the winter just before they begin migrating in the spring.

There will be bird quizzes, bird programs, and helpful volunteers that are counting birds at the Nature Center’s feeders to show you how the count works, as well as how to identify some of those hard to identify birds. Come anytime from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and enjoy the birds with ACNC.

Bring a little bit of extra cash with you to participate in a basket raffle to win a birding basket full of bird books and supplies for adults and children alike.

Special Information: Food may contain allergens such as wheat, eggs, and products that have been packaged in facilities that process tree nuts. Food substitutions will not be possible.
