Audubon’s trails are full of surprises at the annual Dragons and Fairies Festival! There will be hidden dragon nests, a maze, unicorns, live music, great food, and so much more.
The Dragons and Fairies Festival transforms the grounds of Audubon into a delightful mix of all things magical. Visitors can try their hand at kid-safe archery, make a wizard staff, go on a dragon nest hunt, take a unicorn-drawn wagon ride, jump into a drum circle, make a wish on the wishing tree, hunt for garden gnomes, and so much more. Adults and children alike are encouraged to wear their favorite costumes, and there will also be a fantasy photo booth available where children can pose in some of Audubon’s costumes. Sixpence, a local band with Celtic roots, will play live music.
An artisan area is new this year, with a blacksmith, glassblower, wool spinner and weavers that will demonstrate how to make things from raw materials. Food Trucks include 3 C's Food Truck, Kettle Corn and Italian Ice.
Expect a fun day filled with fairy tale story times, live music, food, obstacle courses, play areas, crafts, and all kinds of fantastic fun!
