Learn about some wild plants that grow in your backyard, some that don’t, some that are edible and beneficial, and one or more of the invasives. This will be more of a leisurely stroll than a hike.
Nancy Jager is a nature enthusiast from Dunkirk, New York who enjoys nature photography and learning about plants, local and native edible weeds, invasive species, and garden herbs. Nancy is a Chautauqua Master Gardener of Cornell Cooperative Extension. She holds a M.S. in Education from the State University of New York at Fredonia and is presently teaching international students at Fredonia State University.
She has been a participant of Allegany Nature Pilgrimage since 2009, and leader since 2014.
