DESCRIPTION:Monarchs and Margaritas (Adult) \n  \n  \n Friday, August 30, 2019 \n  \n 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. \n  \n  \n $30 prepaid \n  \n $35 at the door \n  \n  \n Reservations required by August 27. \n  \n  \n   \n  \n  \n Join ACNC for a sneak peak at the Monarchs, some great food, margaritas, and fun. The day before the Monarch Butterfly Festival, the Nature Center is a flurry of motion as preparations get underway. The multipurpose room gets a makeover as it becomes a butterfly house full of flowers and Monarch Butterflies. Join ACNC for this exclusive, adults-only preview before the big festival. New this year, guest can also participate in a Silent Disco party during the event.  \n  \n  \n Monarchs need help. Throughout the last decade, Monarch populations have been decimated by habitat loss, deforestation, and drought. The evening will include opportunity to view all stages of the Monarch life cycle up close, educational programs to highlight this amazing insect, their plight, and how you can help.  \n  \n  \n Bring your friends and enjoy drinks and south-of-the-border-themed appetizers as well as the butterflies. Just for fun, and to earn a chance at one of the basket raffles, participants can try out a unique party experience at the Silent Disco by dancing to music broadcast on wireless headphones. Admission includes two drink tickets. Beer and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available. Please reserve early, admission is limited.  \n  \n  \n   \n  \n  \n Special Information: For extra drinks and game activities, you may want to bring cash. \n
