Up Close and Personal with Pennsylvania Elk (Adult+)*
A backwoods adventure for up to six people

Three consecutive days, Monday–Wednesday or Tuesday–Thursday.
Dates to be determined by purchaser and trip coordinator, between the third week in September and the third week in October.
 

2:00 p.m. on the first day – checkout at 10:00 a.m. on day three, with option to continue exploring elk country after checkout.
$900 for the package, which includes 2 nights’ lodging, dinner on the first night, lunch on the second day, bottled water, fruit and snacks.

This is a special opportunity for up to six people to experience Pennsylvania elk in ways beyond what the typical tourists see when visiting the area each fall. On a mutually agreed upon date participants will travel to St. Marys, Pennsylvania, and from there to areas where elk can be found. Guides Rick and Joe Rupprecht will try to get you to see elk away from the crowds. People who spend a day in elk country complain that “there just wasn’t enough time.” This was the inspiration for this two-day event so that your group can spend the second 24 hours however is convenient to you. Special Information: *There is no age restriction. Ideally, participants will be able to walk several miles over medium terrain. However, accommodations can be made for whomever purchases this exclusive. Lodging will be in a six-person “family” cabin at the Wapiti Woods, west of Benezette in Elk County, PA. These cabins have a master bedroom with a queen-sized bed, and a second bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds. There is a porch, living area, and kitchenette.
