Audubon Community Nature Center and the Blue Heron Gift Shop are participating in Small Business Saturday on November 29, 2025 with free admission, discounts throughout the gift shop, and a special gift for those purchasing a holiday gift membership to the Nature Center.

The Blue Heron Gift Shop is stocked for the holidays with gifts, including many that are truly unique to Audubon. Items include Audubon’s own Nature Discovery Kits, gifts from area nature artists, new puppets and plush animals, a wide variety of children’s books, nature and guide books, locally-made honey, beeswax candles, and soaps. On this Saturday (and Sunday), everything in the gift shop will be 10% off for everyone, and 20% off for all current Nature Center Members.

Are you interested in becoming a member, or do you know someone who would appreciate becoming a part of the Audubon community? Purchase a holiday gift membership to Audubon for your favorite nature-lover, and receive a free honey product gift from a choice of honey or soaps with your gift membership purchase. This special gift is only available November 29 – 30.

Plus, if you donate a new, unwrapped toy into the Toys for Tots box at our Nature Center until Friday December 19, you will receive a free admission pass to the Nature Center building.

Before or after you stop in to shop, take a nature break by walking the trails, playing in the outdoor nature play area, or visiting the live animals. Building admission is free of charge to all visitors as part of Small Business Saturday, and the grounds, which include more than five miles of trails, are always free.
