We all love our gardens, but sometimes we don’t love the work that comes with them! Cleaning up your garden can be an onerous task when it’s just one person, so Audubon is here to help! Leigh Rovegno, Audubon Community Nature Center’s executive director, will work with you to help put your garden to bed for the winter. Each garden cleanup includes 3 hours of assistance to cut back, rake, and remove unwanted plants. Purchaser may also choose to use the time for a garden consultation to help plan out garden improvements for the following spring. Fall is a fantastic time to think about what you love about your garden and what you would like to change while it is still fresh in your mind. Purchase your Fall Garden Assistance online, and you will receive a call to schedule an appointment shortly thereafter. Fall Garden CleanUp/Consultations will take place between October 1 and November 22.

Leigh Rovegno has worked with gardens ranging from xeriscape, to native, to organic food for over 19 years. Her specialty is in finding ways to work with the existing plants and conditions and to find ways to create low maintenance solutions for gardens. Her gardening practices and recommendations include environmentally friendly techniques to help manage and maintain gardens of all shapes and sizes.
