Audubon lights up early spring with a half-mile long trail of lights at the Nature Center. Walk a luminary-lit trail past ponds that reflect the illuminated trees and stars above. Creative light displays and laser light shows highlight natural features in new ways. While luminaries light the trail edges, some sections are darker than others so a flashlight may be helpful. The trails look stunning when lit up in the dark, and spring peepers sometimes provide the perfect soundtrack to this nighttime nature walk.
The trail ends at the Nature Center with a warm fire, hot drinks, popcorn, and other food for sale, as well as live entertainment. The Nature Center building will be open during the event so you can play in the indoor nature play area, visit the live animals, or shop in the Blue Heron Gift Shop. Entertainment may move inside during inclement weather.
Purchase small LED lights at the entrance for additional fun (and to help locate children in the dark), as well as glasses that refract the light to make the trail even more amazing! Bring cash to make purchasing easier.

Audubon Lights would be impossible without the generous contributions of Ahlstrom Schaeffer, Kwik Fill, Buttamante, Whipple, Buttafaro, and FSC.
Special Information: Please bring a flashlight as a backup in case you need it on dark sections of the trail. Parking lots have lights, but there will be an un-lit overflow parking lot used on crowded nights. Food and other goods for sale will be easiest to purchase with cash, so please bring cash for small purchases. The Nature Center will not re-open for Audubon Lights until 7:30 p.m.
