Have you wondered what it takes to become an Animal Care volunteer? Maybe you were curious if you need special certification or training to do the job? Audubon depends on the dedicated group of volunteers who care for all their animals and is looking for new volunteers to be part of the team.

Join Kim Turner, Audubon’s Animal Care Specialist along with a number of animal care volunteers for a presentation on ACNC’s Animal Care Volunteer Program, what opportunities are available, and the type of training needed. There will be time to talk with the current volunteers, meet the animals, and have all your questions answered. If volunteering to care for the animals might not be a good fit for you, there will also be information on other ways you can volunteer at Audubon.

Special Information: This information session is designed for people 16 years old and older who are interested in taking care of the education animals at ACNC.

COVID-19 Information: Face coverings are required for both vaccinated and non-vaccinated individuals for indoor Audubon programs, but are not required for outdoor programs. Please have a face covering available should situations change. If you are feeling ill or have any symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home.
