Trail Guide Training Tuesday, April 28 & Wednesday, April 29 9:00 – 11:30 a.m.
Trail Guide volunteers are integral to the educational programming at Audubon. These volunteers lead small groups of students on Discovery Walks using age-appropriate and exploration-based activities.
This two-day training provides new and returning Trail Guide volunteers with the skills to effectively achieve the goal of a Discovery Walk, which is to inspire and nurture curiosity about the natural world. Information and skills learned in this training may also be useful in other volunteer positions at Audubon.
This training is required for new Trail Guide volunteers. Established Trail Guides are welcome and encouraged to come as a refresher course. If you have any questions, please contact Chelsea at (716) 569-2345 or CJandreau@auduboncnc.org.

Fifth Annual Chautauqua County Book Read "A Portrait of America's Largest and Least Understood Minority" By Maria Arana
ACNC will be hosting a session on Tuesday, May 26, 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.
We are looking for volunteer(s) that have relevant skills to become book discussion group facilitators. Training and a free book will be provided for participation. Contact Aaron Sidder at asidder@auduboncnc.org if interested.
"LatinoLand is an exceptional, all-encompassing overview of Hispanic America based on personal interviews, deep research, and Marie Arana’s life experience as a Latina. At present, Latinos comprise twenty percent of the US population, a number that is growing. By 2050, census reports project that one in every three Americans will claim Latino heritage." |
| Thank you for continuing to share your time and talents with Audubon Community Nature Center. We are so grateful for you!
