Plant Exchange and Sale (All)
Saturday, May 19, 2018, 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Free
Bring cash, check or card to purchase plants.
Share some of your plants, knowledge of or enthusiasm for them at this gathering of plant lovers. Exchange or simply buy plants of a wide variety. Both allow you to head home with new varieties.
Exchange some of your extra plants for new ones at this Audubon gardening event. If you don’t have plants to exchange you can purchase ones that you want to add to the garden. Exchange rates are based on plant condition and species and are tagged when you arrive. You get exchange tickets that you can use at check-out.
Designed originally to help local gardeners share their bounty and build up Audubon’s gardens, Plant Exchange and Sale has grown over the years to help support and continue to expand the educational gardens at ACNC. There are annuals, perennials, vegetables, trees, fruit, and shrubs that come in as well as donations from local nurseries and greenhouses.
Add vigor and diversity to your garden and Audubon’s when you stop in and trade or buy some new plants. If you want to donate plants earlier than Saturday, you may call ACNC to arrange a drop-off.
Special Information: This event takes place rain or shine. Audubon reserves the right to refuse plants based on species or condition.
