Walk and run through Audubon’s trails in one of the area’s only 5K trail races. Race through fields and forests and across boardwalks as you speed toward the finish line. The money raised at this race benefits the trails and bridges on the property. The 2019 Wild 5k will be run in honor of David Hedberg, long time Wild 5k route coordinator and volunteer.
Audubon is excited to bring some changes to this year’s course to allow for a longer, wider starting point and includes sections of trails that have never been a part of the race before. The trail wanders through just over three miles of Audubon’s six miles of trails. The Wild 5k Is a part of the Chautauqua Striders 2019 race series.
The Wild 5k is put together by a committee of volunteers supported by Audubon staff. If you are interested in helping out, please contact Audubon at 569-2345.
Special Information: Race takes place rain or shine.
Awards: T-shirts will be awarded to all pre-registered (before July 15) participants. Participants registering after July 15, 2019 including same-day registrants, will not receive an event T-shirt.
