Become an Animal Advocate to ensure that ACNC’s Animal Ambassadors have access to the care they need
throughout the year to ensure a high quality of life.
ACNC Animal Advocates provide financial support which goes directly towards staff time and the purchase of materials, food, and medical care needed to ensure the well-being of the animals each year. Care items include: Light and heat bulbs, filter cartridges, habitat décor, bedding, vaccinations, vet visits, enrichment items, and food.
Each year, ACNC spends $2,500 to provide basic care to its animals. Another $10,000 or more is dedicated to ACNC’s Animal Care Specialist’s staff time to ensure the proper planning, training, and supervision of Animal Care Volunteers.
Animal Advocate packages make great souvenirs or gifts for any occasion.

$100 Level
· Recognition:

*"Animal Encounter" is defined as a 15 - 20 minute introduction to the animal provided by ACNC staff. (Only available for specific animals that can be handled such as snakes, turtles, and birds that are trained for in-hand programs).
There is no limit to the number of Animal Advocates available per animal.
